2010 Western Australian Oaks Preview

One of the feature racedays on the Western Australian horse racing calendar is drawing closer, and the WA Oaks Day will take place once again at the Ascot Racecourse in Perth, falling on the 17th of April.

It will be a busy weekend in Australian horse racing, as the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival is held alongside Melbourne Racing, however with quality races such as the Group 3 WA Oaks, Perth will receive its fair share of attention.

The Western Australian Oaks will headline the WA Oaks Day, and will draw some of the top three-year-old fillies.

Also taking place at the Ascot Racecourse on the 17th of April will be the Group 2 Karrakatta Plate (1200m).
